Rutabaga's Winter Playground will feature snowshoe demos for the whole family. From traditional high flotation wood-framed shoes to the ultra-light, ultra-modern high-traction shoes suitable for more compact snow conditions, we'll have demos and our snowshoe experts will be there. We'll teach you the two-step process to snowshoeing.

Step One: Insert foot into your binding.
Step Two: Walk.

That's not all. We'll have a mini sledding ramp for tiny tots, free hot chocolate and a real, live igloo. You'll see why winter is just another reason to get outside. Remember: no bad weather, just the wrong gear and the wrong clothing. With the right stuff, you'll not only survive, you'll thrive and learn to love winter as we do.
