Matching Grant Awarded to the Madison Winter Festival
Dear winter outdoor friends and enthusiasts,
On behalf of the participants, volunteers and Advisory Board we would like to thank you all for your support in the past and for being part of this great event.
This February 2-3, 2008 fourth annual Capitol Square Sprints will transform into Madison Winter festival by adding additional family festive activities such as:
- Snow Sculpture Competition
- Museums Winter Theme Events
- Findorff Tubing Hill
Dr Leslie and John Taylor, in commitment to greater community built on core values, are offering to match dollar to dollar of your tax deductible donations up to $25,000 dollars.
A fundraising campaign will start on January 1st, 2008 and end on February 1st, 2008 with the goal of raising $50,000 total to continue to develop, enrich and promote fun and healthy life styles during the wintertime through showcasing snow sports and festive recreational activities.
Donors can send a check for their donation to the Madison Winter Festival at PO Box 930442, Verona, WI 53593 or donate online through PayPal. The check should be made out to Wisconsin Nordic Sports Foundation with the Madison Winter Festival on the memo line. The Madison Winter Sports Foundation is a non-profit organization and donations are tax deductible.
Donor Recognition Levels:
Snowflake - up to $500
• Recognition on the event website
Snowbank - $500 to $1500
• Recognition on the event website
• Madison Winter Festival vest
Avalanche - $1500 and up
• Recognition on the event website
• Madison Winter Festival vest
• Two-person invitation to the Madison Winter Festival dinner with Olympic celebrities
