Try out equipment, ski with others and learn about opportunities to enjoy adaptive cross country skiing.
The clinic is open to anyone interested in sit, standing or visually impaired cross country skiing. Nordic Coaches, volunteers, adaptive sport coordinators/instructors, parents, Nordic skiers and those interested in learning more about Adaptive Nordic Skiing are welcome to attend.
There is NO cost to this clinic, but we ask that you register ahead of time so we can be sure to have enough volunteers and equipment for everyone. We will have 2-3 sit skis available to try on-site. If you have your own ski-ski equipment, please bring it!

Elver Park is located on the West side of Madison and considered as one of the best places to cross country ski in the Madison area. The park is home to 10km of ski trails. With a base of 4-5″ of natural snow the park will open the East and West trails. The West trails are lit for night skiing. Thanks to volunteers from the Madison Nordic Ski Club and Madison Winter Festival, the park will have machine-made snow on approximately 1-2.5 km of trails that will be used in the event of low snow conditions.
